What it does

Easy DOS Boot Creator is a simple Windows program that creates a single boot disc. However, despite the normal Windows Boot Creator, it creates a full dos compatible boot disc with CD-ROM, Mouse, Hard Disc and Keyboard device drivers already configured.

To acheive this, i’ve used a dos version called OpenDOS. This DOS version is free for private usage. If you use Easy DOS Boot Disc Creator for business reasons, please buy a license at www.drdos.com.

Note: Easy DOS Boot Disc Creator does not include the complete OpenDOS with all it’s utilities. OpenDOS is just used to load a free DOS version from floppy disc. If you want to download the full version of OpenDOS, you can do this at www.drdos.net

Once installed, you just have to click on the “Easy DOS Boot Disc Creator” icon in your Windows, insert a formatted disc, reboot your system leaving the disc into your computer and -tadaa- your system will boot DOS directly from this disc.

In normal cases, you should be able to use all necessary components of your computer like CD-ROM or Mouse without the need of configuration - Easy DOS Boot Disc Creator has built in generic device drivers that should work with most systems. Read more in chapter 3 to this issue.

If you are interested in building your own DOS Boot disc, go on reading.
